Twofer Friday - New Private Pilot

​After a grueling oral exam and a smokey-hot flight in the afternoon winds of Reno, Cody Lucero became Reno’s latest certified Private Pilot! Cody flew N495SP around the skies north of Reno and had all checkboxes filled for a successful outcome to this huge milestone. Cody breezed through his training, with instructor Levi Mellows, demonstrating a dedication and discipline rarely seen. His easy going but serious personality is exactly what aviation needs. Cody serves in the Navy and is currently stationed at Fallon. He spent several years serving in Japan before returning to Northern Nevada. We couldn’t be more proud of you, Cody!
