What a day! I don’t know about you, but we all at GBA think Dayna Eder is pretty legendary!! And now, even more so that she is officially a soloed pilot! She ripped her way through the mountainous pattern of KSPZ, and brought home victory as she buttered N752DW onto runway 06! Word has it that Dayna had the smoothest solo landing that Kurtis Hornung, her instructor, has ever seen… but we’ll let her sister and flight-training-partner-in-crime, Gwen Eder, have some say in this argument. Dayna is an avid supporter of all things sweet and delicious, and after seeing perfectly good, 4-day-old doughnuts in the trash today (all at the hands of Richard Brong🤨) Dayna’s last words as she left the office today were “now I’m going to get a beer and doughnut.” But aside from sweets, Dayna has wanted to be a pilot ever since she was a little girl. That little girl would be glad to know that she is closer than ever to finally reaching that PPL certificate! Congratulations to Dayna and her instructor Kurtis! Lets keep this ball moving!!!
