Tuesday Solo!

Congratulations to Shan Thiagarajan who made his Tuesday pretty awesome!! This morning, Shan soloed at KRNO, runway 16L in N495SP. The cool air and calm winds gave Shan the perfect conditions to log his first PIC flight. His instructor, Levi Mellows, watched from the sideline as Shan flew some pretty perfect rectangular patterns and demonstrated his smooth landings and take-offs. Shan’s work takes him out of town quite a bit but when he can get in here, he comes in ready to go and always returns with a smile. Even after stalls, steep turns, and unusual attitudes :) Congratulations to Shan and Levi!! ​
