Reed can fly in the clouds!!

What’s better than one instrument rated Bennett? How about two! That’s right, Reed Bennett and his dad Bob Bennett have a lot to celebrate on this Cinco de Mayo. Even though Reed was not able to enjoy the gorgeous VFR flying because he was stuck under the foggles, it was worth it because he got out of the plane having achieved his instrument rating! Reed did awesome on his oral exam a couple weeks ago, but was twice delayed on the flight portion of his practical. However, today was smooth sailing and made the wait worth it. Reed picked up the aviation bug and has been pushing forward through his certificates and ratings in between his work with Washoe County School District. This guys was all smiles and we know there are a lot more to come. He has some time building to do, but next up is his commercial certificate. Awesome job to Reed and his instructor Bob!! ​
