Evening Solo

Huge congratulations to Hal Jin who soloed yesterday evening!! He showed off his PIC skills in N309PS at KRNO, runway 16L as his instructor Levi Mellows watched from the ramp. Great radio communications and smooth landings prove Hal is ready for the next stage of his training which is completing his solo requirements. Hal has been super focused and coming in after work a few times a  week, studying at home, and determined to earn his certificate within the timeline he set for himself. The backbone for success with anything is hard work, determination, good planning, and perseverance. Hal definitely displays all that and then some. Congratulations again to Hal and the hard working GBA instructors who have taught him along the way: Levi, Stefan, Sean, and Brenden. ​
