What is up with these high schoolers lately? Waking up early to come fly, being prepared for their lessons, and kicking butt with their flying. It is impressive. Reagan Curtis is one of GBA's super impressive high schoolers who this morning soloed N495SP on 16L at her favorite airport, KRNO!! Reagan eased the plane on to the runway for a few laps not only demonstrating her proficiency in flying but also wowing the tower with her incredible radio skills. Reagan is a a busy young lady with her school studies, volleyball, being a newly licensed driver, the extra ground school training her Dad assigns her at home, and navigating all the things thrown her way. And, she does not make mistakes, she is just learning :) Reagan has about 9 months to go before she turns 17 and can get her Private Pilot. My bet is that you will hear more about her success in April. Huge congratulations to Reagan and her CFI Austin White!!
