Young Aviator Boot Camp
Inspiring the Next Generation of Pilots, One Takeoff at a Time
The Young Aviator Boot Camp at Great Basin Aviation is an immersive, hands-on aviation experience designed for students ages 13–16 who are ready to explore the skies.
Over the course of the week long camp, participants dive into the fundamentals of flight through interactive ground lessons, flight simulator time, and real-world exposure to aircraft systems, weather, navigation, and air traffic control. Each camper even takes the controls during a Discovery Flight with a certified flight instructor, for many, their very first taste of flight.
But this camp is about more than just flying. It’s about confidence, leadership, and discovery. Students hear from experienced pilots, military aviators, aircraft mechanics, and industry professionals, all while making new friends who share their passion for aviation.
