    Sunday Solo!!

    Congratulations to Johnny Martinez who soloed today in N670CS! Johnny has been through a lot to get to this point so we are especially excited to share his exciting news! This guy is the epitome of perseverance. He is a great pilot and will be ready for his checkride in no time! Johnny is a student of Bob Bennett. ​

    Three more Private Pilots!!

    GBA students are on a roll this week… Three more Private Pilots earned their license this week!! Alex Infantino, a student of Dane Meyerhoff, earned his Private Pilot license yesterday, 10/15, in N752DW! Will Foltz and Alex Rodriguez both passed their checkrides today, 10/16! Will is a student of Bob Bennett and flew N2291C. Alex is a student of Emmett Castellan and flew N752DW. Congratulations to these new pilots! They all have put in a ton of effort to get to this point. “A mile of highway will take you a mile. A mile of runway will take you anywhere.” These guys are definitely going places!

    Carson City Location!

    Great Basin Aviation has expanded to Carson City! We have officially opened our office in Mountain West Aviation on the north side of the airport (off Arrowhead). We have two aircraft available for instruction/rental, N37JA (C172R) and N3034Y (C162). Give us a call to schedule with one of our Carson instructors or for an appointment to stop in and get information. We look forward to flying with you at KCXP!
