How to Register for Your FAA Knowledge Test
All FAA knowledge tests must be scheduled directly through the FAA’s contracted testing provider, https://faa.psiexams.com/faa/login
Step 1: Obtain Your FTN
Before scheduling, you must have a FAA Tracking Number (FTN) through IACRA.
If you do not yet have one:
· Go to the IACRA website

You cannot schedule an FAA knowledge test without an FTN.
Step 2: Get Your Endorsement
Most knowledge tests require instructor or ground school endorsement.
This may come from:

· A graduation certificate from an online course (Sporty’s, Gleim, etc.)
Make sure your endorsement matches the exact exam code you are taking.
King Ground Certificates are not accepted.
