    Monday Solo!

    Congratulations to Christian Mohino for soloing today at KCXP on runway 27! While pursuing his Doctorate and working, he also somehow finds time to pursue his aviation goals. Weather has been such an issue through his training but today it was all worth it! This morning he got to kick Emmett out and take his first few laps in the pattern by himself. Now the fun cross country flights begin! Great job Christian!! ​

    Beautiful Evening for a Solo!

    Congratulations to Jake Velez who soloed this evening at KCXP on runway 27 in N2291C! Jake is an amazing guy! He flies early mornings and evenings to make it work with his full time work schedule. Another extremely driven student pilot! "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” ​And, congratulations to Emmett Castellan for two soloed students today!

    Discovery Flight!

    It was a beautiful morning to fly! Here is Nathan and Dane getting ready to head out on a Discovery Flight. Nathan loves aviation, has completed ground school, works at the airport, runs rno_plane_spotter on Instagram, and is graduating high school this week. Busy guy! Soon he will be jumping into pilot training full time. We are so excited to watch him as he progresses to his goals.

    Soloed Student!!

    Congratulations to Jim Galatola who soloed today at KRTS, runway 32. Jim accomplished this memorable flight at just 15.6 hours. Congratulations to Jim and his instructor Stephen! "You did not wake up today to be mediocre." Awesome job Jim!!
