Friendly reminder for students looking for scholarship opportunities! Below is a list of available scholarships, three of which are local.
Just a little over a week left to submit your RTAG Scholarship application. All applications need to be in my 1/31. RTAG has a mailbox here at Atlantic Aviation so if you run close to the deadline, you can bring it in with you and we will show you which box is theirs. Below is the link to learn more about the Private Pilot, Advanced, and Tailwheel scholarships that are being offered. These scholarships are a great way to help with the cost of flight training: https://www.renoaviation.org/scholarship
Next, the RARA scholarships through the Ray Foundation for students 16-22 also closes on 1/31. The link for more information regarding this incredible $10,000 opportunity is https://airrace.org/flight-training-scholarships/.
The window for AOPA scholarships is still open as well until February 11th. That information is available at this link: https://www.aopa.org/training-and-safety/students/flight-training-scholarships.
Last, but definitely not least, the Reno Area Chapter of the Ninety Nines also has Private Pilot, Advanced, Re-Currency, and UAS scholarships available. We have a flyer hanging in the office and can also email it to you if you are interested. Applications for these scholarships are due by March 7th.
Please let us know how we can help!
