Gentlemen, start your engines!! The one and only, Edby Calderon, professional, local car dealership owner, decided to settle for a pair of wings rather than wheels this afternoon and took to flight all on his own! That’s right, Edby kicked out his instructor, Troy Ware, and soloed on runway 08 at KRTS in N670CS! Edby got to test his aviator skills as the finicky KRTS winds picked up, but nothing the machine-master couldn’t handle! It’s apparent that Edby loves the purr of an engine. Even if this one moves a little slower than what he might be used to. Congratulations to Edby and his instructor Troy on this accomplishment! Now let’s get that PPL! ​
