From navigating the skies to serving our country, Kevin does it all with unwavering determination and a love for all things aviation. But hey, all's well that ends well – you're officially a licensed pilot now, so let's celebrate your incredible achievement!     Scott Soloed!!

    Congratulations to Scott Dunning, the newest member of the "IT" crowd in the skies! Scott just completed his first solo flight in N37JA at KRTS, runway 08! As a world traveler with visits to 48 states and stamps from 23 countries (not all in a C172, mind you), Scott is no stranger to the skies. And now, he's officially earned his wings to start logging his own frequent flyer miles – talk about upgrading to first class! When he's not debugging code or troubleshooting networks, Scott is busy building a life for his family and enjoying the great outdoors. As a network and IT guy, he's always on top of his game, ensuring smooth operations on the ground and now in the air. Scott's solo flight is not just a milestone; it's a reboot of his aviation journey, with upgraded privileges and access to new horizons. Awesome job Scott!     Kevin got his first taste of freedom!!

    Huge congratulations to Kevin Linderman, who this evening took his first solo flight and tasted the sweet freedom of the skies!! Despite juggling a hectic schedule – from full-time work to wrangling farm animals, chasing after kids, and still finding time to pursue his passion for hunting and outdoor adventures, he's added learning to fly to his impressive list of accomplishments! Even with the weather delays and busy days, Kevin stayed determined and focused on his goal, and the result speaks for itself – pure, unadulterated freedom in the air! Soloing at KSPZ, runway 06, in N37JA was just the beginning of Kevin's journey into the wild blue yonder. Huge shoutout to his CFI, Nathan Morin, for guiding him through every twist and turn of this exhilarating adventure!     Zach is a Private Pilot!!

    Let's give a warm round of applause to our very own Zach Heywood, who just earned his wings as a private pilot amidst winter's chills! Despite facing some frosty challenges – from storm delays to CFI turnover (the good kind) – he heatedly persevered through it all with sheer determination and grit. Not only does Zach soar through the skies, but he also keeps us cozy as a cuddly blanket with his full-time hustle in HVAC. Talk about juggling hot and cold! And word on the street is, he still manages to find time to enjoy his favorite winter snack – tacos, with a side of extra hot sauce to battle the chill. Now that's what we call a winter warrior! Zach, your radiant smile and unwavering focus warm our hearts. Massive kudos to Nik Joshi and Eric Harned for keeping up with Zach's high-flying aspirations!
