Have you ever thought to yourself, “If I were an animal, which animal would I be?” Well, I can tell you for certain that student pilot, Brendan Gomez, would for sure be a golden retriever. Listen to some of his hobbies: going on small adventures, enjoying warm weather, making waffles or any breakfast food for that matter… Brendan is just an all-around happy, go lucky guy. And while I feel like I’ve proven my point, I’d just also like to add that his favorite color may or may not be gold… I rest my case. *Clears throat* With that aside and onto the more important topic at hand, we have some great news regarding this golden retriever! Brendan Gomez took flight this morning and soloed at KSPZ on runway 24 in his tried-and-true N328ME! Brendan has been working incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and while we like to poke and prod him for being such a laid-back guy, we’re super excited to celebrate this success with him! Let’s give Brendan and his not-so golden retriever, maybe more like feral cat (just kidding!), instructor, Alex Spencer, a huge round of applause on this incredible accomplishment! Great work you guys!
